Jamco America's Program Management Office (PMO) employs Program Management Principals and abides by the Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Jamco America's PMO is a robust organization consisting of 11 Program Managers of which 5 are Senior; the group has an average of 16 years' experience per Program Manager and 184 years combined. The 11 Program Managers have a vast array of experience and education in which 5 hold their Program Management Professional Certification (PMP) and two are Airframe and Powerplant Technicians.
The Jamco America PMO has an established and mature infrastructure with tools and procedures to manage a program through: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control, and Closing. Jamco America is a Matrix organization and therefore the execution of all programs is worked in close collaboration with a Project Engineer; between the Program Manager and the Project Engineer all aspects of a program are closely coordinated. The Program Manager has overall responsibility for the Program including Contractual Execution, Financial Management, and Design Compliance with the Specification. The Project Engineer is accountable to the Program Manager for the technical execution of the Work Statement from Initial Technical Coordination through Final Certification of the project; the Technical Organization is accountable to the Project Engineer.
Jamco America has a robust and proven Engineering capability that provides all the necessary design, substantiation, and installation data for the aircraft modification. Jamco America specializes in large fleet aircraft refurbishment and reconfiguration including: IFE, Structural Modification, Electrical Modification, Seat re-pitch and installation, and cabinetry installation and rework. Jamco America's in-house manufacturing group, Testing Facilities, Technical Publications, and ODA Certification gives our customer's confidence in our ability to complete the project on-time and on budget.
This array of experience and knowledge allows Jamco America to take on minor certification projects to full Aircraft Reconfigurations integrating: Customer requirements, Customer / Buyer Furnished Equipment including the management of those suppliers, MRO coordination, Engineering, Certification, and FAA coordination through STC issuance.
